Food Review - Sate Kacang from Es Campur Kalimantan, Binjai

Continued from my previous post at a legendary stall in Binjai called "Es Campur Kalimantan" which I highly recommend you guys to try their ice campur, the satay here is very good as well.

We order ours to be chicken satay and it is served with peanut sauce.
Chicken satay is delicious but we have ours slightly overcooked so it definitely got the char-smoky flavour, slightly bitter but still edible.

To be honest with you, for me the highlight of this dish isn't the satay but the peanut sauce and the green chili sambal.
It is really delicious.
Peanut sauce is well balanced, hearty, slightly sweet and accompany the satay very well.
